Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Training

Three hours at your premises to give your team the skills and confidence to use a defibrillator in a cardiac arrest — for groups of up to 15.

Course Overview

When someone suffers a cardiac arrest, every minute without defibrillation reduces their chance of survival by around 10%. An AED on site is only useful if your staff are confident enough to use it.

Our comprehensive defibrillator training course equips participants with the skills and knowledge required to use an automated external defibrillator safely and effectively in an emergency — combined with high-quality CPR.

If your workplace already has an AED, training is delivered on your own device so staff know exactly what they'll be using on the day it matters.

What Your Team Will Learn

  • How AEDs work and when to use one
  • Recognising cardiac arrest and calling for help
  • CPR combined with defibrillation
  • Correct pad placement and following AED prompts
  • Safety considerations — wet surfaces, pacemakers, children
  • AED maintenance and readiness checks

Who Is This Course For?

Any organisation with an AED on site (or planning to install one), and any team that wants to be prepared for a sudden cardiac arrest — no previous first aid training required.
